Personalized, trauma-informed care that meets you as a whole being. Through individual sessions, group classes, trainings, programs, retreats, and shared experiences, this work blends coaching, Brainspotting, mindfulness, therapeutic yoga, bodywork, energy work, and other mind–body practices. Each offering is designed to support nervous system regulation, embodied healing, and deep integration, inviting you back into connection with yourself and a sense of wholeness that unfolds over time.

Beyond Brain & Body is a trauma-informed, integrative wellness practice offering personalized, multi-modal care designed to support regulation, embodiment, and whole-person healing. We serve clients through two intentionally held spaces: our primary mountain retreat and wellness center in Ball Ground, Georgia, known as Beyond Stays and Retreats, and a private hOMe office and studio in Woodstock, Georgia.

 

Tucked into the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Beyond Stays and Retreats offers a peaceful, grounding environment where space, stillness, and nature invite you to slow down and breathe a little deeper. Surrounded by sweeping mountain views, this thoughtfully designed home serves as both a retreat center and healing sanctuary, supporting individual sessions, group work, retreats, trainings, and immersive experiences. It is a place to rest, reconnect, and create your own version of retreat, without pressure or performance.

 

Across both locations, sessions are tailored to your unique needs and may integrate Health and Wellness Coaching, Brainspotting, mindfulness practices, therapeutic yoga, integrative bodywork, energy work, and other somatic approaches. Each offering honors the deep interconnectedness of the mind, body, and nervous system, supporting awareness, resilience, and meaningful change.

 

At the core of our work is a trauma-informed perspective that recognizes how lived experiences shape the body and brain. With compassion, attunement, and care, we create a space where you can gently explore your inner landscape, release stored tension, and reconnect with your capacity for healing, at a pace that feels safe, supportive, and sustainable.

Health and Wellness Coaching provides personalized support to enhance your overall well-being, empowering you to make sustainable lifestyle changes that align with your goals and values. Through collaborative dialogue and evidence-based strategies, we co-create a plan for optimal health and vitality.

Supervised Mental Health Counseling: Integrative Counseling offers a holistic approach to emotional and psychological well-being by blending evidence-based therapy with alternative methods like mindfulness, breathwork, and wellness coaching. These services aim to treat the whole person, not just symptoms, fostering lasting healing and personal growth. (This is off-site and under supervision of Marie Johnson LPC008227 and Direction of Kellye M. Mills LPC01439 through Resilient Minds Behavioral Health and Wellness). 

Brainspotting is a powerful therapeutic technique that accesses the brain's natural ability to heal from trauma and emotional distress. By identifying and processing unresolved experiences, we create pathways for healing and transformation at the neurobiological level. Brainspotting encourages sensory exploration, where you learn to navigate life's stresses that show up as physical tension.

Mindfulness Meditation and Breathwork cultivates present-moment awareness and embodied presence, helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and innate capacity for self-healing. Through mindfulness meditation and breath awareness, you learn to live in the here and now.

Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Yoga offers functional, somatic movement, bodywork, breathwork, and meditation practices to promote physical strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Guided by your unique needs and abilities, we tailor each session to support your body's natural healing processes.

Integrative Therapeutic Bodywork facilitates deep relaxation and release of physical, emotional and energetic blockages, promoting a sense of balance and harmony within the body-mind system. These hands-on modalities invite you to surrender into a state of profound peace and restoration.

Reiki & Restore™ is an integrative therapeutic energy work approach that employs methods for balancing chakras and facilitating connection with Reiki or Source energy, fostering healing and instilling a pervasive sense of tranquility.

Beyond Studio Offerings & Experiences explore classes, trainings, programs, groups, and events designed to nurture growth, regulation, and connection through embodied, trauma-informed practices. Each experience blends movement, mindfulness, education, and community to support healing and integration within yourself and alongside others.

Beyond Stays and Retreats extends this work by offering a retreat-ready environment where care comes to you. Guests may stay on site while receiving services through Beyond Brain & Body or through our growing Wellness Collective, a network of trusted practitioners offering complementary modalities. Practitioners interested in hosting retreats, renting the space, or joining the collective are invited to reach out and apply.

Healing is not about fixing what is broken, but remembering what has always been whole. Through a multi-modal, integrative approach, we honor every layer of your experience and support you in returning to your body, your truth, and the quiet brilliance that has always been yours.

Over the past decade, I've guided numerous individuals in embracing a more serene, authentic life in harmony with their true selves. The path of self-discovery can be challenging, and I'm here to serve as your companion, your pillar of support, and your haven of comfort and encouragement.

Recognizing that one single wellness approach is not the best for everyone, I discovered that the most effective way to embrace health and well-being is by integrating various methods. I offer a multitude of resources to help you find what resonates with you, aiding you in uncovering your true self and discerning the essential aspects of your life while letting go of the what's no longer serving you. I cannot wait to walk this path with you.

Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had! Nicole is a wonderful instructor who completely personalized my session with her. Instead of just teaching me quick standard yoga sequences, she took the time to get to know me and my needs. She is an inspiration and I can't wait to spend more time with her. Had my first ever Reiki appointment with Nicole. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect but have heard great things from friends about Reiki. It was such a comforting environment & can tell she's truly there to help. After my appointment I was mentally clear for about 4 days, which I really needed with currently going through a divorce. If you're looking for a break & truly wanting to better yourself it's a must. Again this is my experience yours will be different than mine. Please go in with an open mind, open heart and take it all in.

Oh gosh, tough to pick a favorite!! I think it was a perfect combination. The beginning part where I meditated on something negative and (Nicole) helped work it out of me: that was invaluable, and I saw immediate positive changes in my spirit and in my life. I also really liked the second part (plus I just love being cocooned in blankets! :P), and how Nicole was able to "bring me back" when I started drifting into my own thoughts. (SO crazy that she is able to do that by the way!!). I'd like to get better at that part in the future (just letting the energy flow, instead of getting stuck in blockages of my own, racing / fidgety thoughts).
